It is said, in Africa a storyteller may ask, “How many ears do you have?”
The story listeners would reply, “TWO!”
“Well, add one more and listen to the story I have for you…”
Good Listening Ears are essential for good storytelling and
listening.
So I imagine that elephants
must be the best at both.
When I
practice my stories at home for my imaginary audience, elephants are always
seated with their ears spread out wide.
I hope we can all be like elephants- good story listeners
and storytellers.
Stories are what make
the world go round. So go tell a story!
I would sure love to share one with you.
